Three companies in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak have recently been recognised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) for their export activities in 2018.

The companies named were the Dak Lak September 2nd Import-Export Company Limited (Simexco Daklak), the Dak Lak Rubber Company (Dakruco), and the Dakman Viet Nam Limited.

Simexco Daklak is involved in the coffee and pepper industries, Dakruco was selected from the rubber industry, while Dakman Viet Nam also satisfied criteria for the coffee industry.

The list of “prestigious export businesses” was selected based on criteria set by the Ministry of Industry and Trade on minimum export turnover, business reputation with foreign partners, and fulfillment of duties to the State in the fields of customs, tax and environment.

On the basis of nominations by 55 agencies and organisations, the MoIT selected 225 businesses, including 11 companies in the field of coffee export, 20 in rubber and 13 in pepper.

The title aims to encourage Vietnamese enterprises to boost exports and expand their markets, especially given that Viet Nam has recently joined a series of bilateral and multilateral free trade agreements. — VNS
