A delegation of Korean exporters from Daegu City and Gyeongbuk Province will engage in direct trade talks with Vietnamese importers at Novotel Thái Hà Hotel in Hà Nội on October 17.

This annual event, proven to yield positive outcomes for businesses of both countries, showcases high-quality products like cosmetics, food, beverages, household appliances and LED equipment, all successfully exported globally.

KOTRA Hanoi has arranged more than 80 one-on-one business meetings tailored to the specific needs of companies from both countries. Vietnamese participants have received support from KOTRA, including comprehensive documentation from each Korean exporter and specific requirements.

As Korea's fourth-largest city with a subtropical climate, Daegu is conducive to growing Oriental apples and melons, fueling a flourishing fruit industry that significantly supports the local economy. Daegu's leading businesses in beauty, health and consumption have a keen eye on the Vietnamese market.

Meanwhile, positioned in eastern Korea, Gyeongbuk is renowned for its tourism and economic potential. Businesses from Gyeongbuk are venturing into Việt Nam to present safe and high-quality food products, functional foods and beverages in this event.
