HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Can you believe that Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarkets are offering products for free?

They are doing so under the "2016 Proud of Vietnamese goods" promotion programme at all their outlets nation-wide.

It works like this: when a customer buys two items of the same product, they will only be charged for the first one and the second will be free. This is available to all customers and not conditional on anything.

The promotion is offered under the "Buy more, get more incentives" programme, one of six in the "2016 Proud of Vietnamese goods" campaign, until September 4.

For instance, customers buying a 3.8 kilogramme bottle of LIX concentrated laundry washing liquid for VND139,000, a Tithafac stainless steel 26cm vessel for VND66,500, an HPL50-5v ice tray for VND19,400 or an HPG47-4 stainless steel wall hanger for VND12,900, will get a second for free.

Besides, the supermarkets are offering big discounts on some other products like wet paper towels, toothpaste, laundry washing liquids, shampoos, and insect-repellant sprays, with the price of the second item reduced to VND3,900 - VND52,000.

Besides Co.opmart and Co.opXtra are implementing the "Co-branded cards, millions of pleasure" programme for customers who have Vietcombank and BIDV cards.

If they fulfil certain purchase conditions, customers using Co.opmart-Vietcombank cards will get a gift voucher worth VND50,000 when they shop at the supermarkets between August 29 and September 19.

Those using Co.opmart – BIDV cards will get a refund of VND50,000 if they shop between August 29 and September 11. — VNS
