Shoppers at a Co.opmart outlet buy products whose prices were slashed under its Gia dac biet (Special prices) promotion programme's second phase last week. — VNS Photo Xuan Phuong.

HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — The Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarket chains have rolled out the third stage of their "Gia dac biet" (Special prices) promotion programme, offering massive discounts on many products from November 27 to 29.

Many products will have their prices cut sharply to enable consumers to save VND45,000 to VND400,000 on each.

Those with bills worth VND400,000 can buy certain products like a carton of soft drinks or instant noodles for just VND1,000.

The specific details are as follows:

On Friday (November 27): 900ml Gift super clean degreaser sold at only VND1,000; 2l/1.9l Essence Blossom laundry detergent (purple) reduced by VND101,000; and so on.

On Saturday (November 28): Steep discounts will be offered on household appliances. Comet electronic hot pot 3.5l reduced by VND170,000; Comet blender 1.25l reduced by VND191,000; five-layer Tomi A4 plastic cabinet reduced by VND106,000; 50cm soft suitcase reduced by VND400,000; 1.6x2m Thang Loi bed sheet reduced by VND176,000; 1.8x2m Thang Loi bed sheet reduced by VND201,000; and so on.

On Sunday (November 29): A pack of 10 Lovemi satay lobster sauce instant noodles (78g each) sold at just VND1,000; a pack of six 390ml Pepsi bottles sold at only VND1,000; and so on.

Besides, Co.opmart and Co.opXtra will also, in rotation, offer discounts of 10-35 per cent on several products like US red apple, saba fish, free-range chicken, US seedless grapes, white cabbage, and others. — VNS
