CMC Telecom is the only Vietnamese information, communication and technology (ICT) firm voted among the top 25 most promising telecom solution providers in the Asia Pacific (APAC) market.

The ranking, which was based on voting by leading ICT magazine APAC CIO Outlook, recognised CMC Telecom for its on-stop-shop ICT solutions for enterprises with high-end quality services.
Several big names in the ICT sector, such as Global Cloud Xchange (India), REDtone (Malaysia), Orange (France), Thomson Reuters (Unietd Kingdom) and SAS Telecom (Australia), have made it to the list
The company is the first ICT firm in Việt Nam to launch Gigabit-capable Passive Optical Networks with 100 per cent fibre optic cables. It has two large and modern data centres meeting international standards. APAC CIO Outlook also said CMC Telecom has pioneered ICT services in Viet Nam.
It is also the only ICT firm with a foreign strategic shareholder -- Malaysian group TIME dotCom Berhad (TIME).
Ngo Trong Hieu, the company's general director, said CMC Telecom has met its demands of large customers and expansion of services. The recognition has affirmed it is following the right development strategy.
Some 40 out of 100 most valued brand names in the world chose CMC Telecom services in Viet Nam, such as Google, Microsoft, Facebook and IBM, Amazon, as well as Cisco, Verizon, Siemens and Toyota, along with Samsung, Pepsi, Visa and HSBC, in addition to Nestle, Colgate, Huyndai, Sony, Panasonic, Canon, Uniqlo and Prada.
