Bosch Rexroth, the drive and control division of Bosch Vietnam, and Hue Industrial College introduced new vocational training models and curriculums aimed at improving training quality at the International Conference on Vocational Education and Training held in Hue City on Wednesday.
Bosch Rexroth presented mMS4.0, a modular mechatronics training system that offers students experiences in real manufacturing environments using standard industrial components instead of simulated models.
The new Cyber Physical System CPS i4.0 training system was also introduced for the first time in Viet Nam.
This equipment from Bosch Rexroth covers the entire engineering chain from programming through operation and monitoring to connection and cloud-based services.
Therefore, users find it much easier to learn programming movement sequences in standard languages, connecting production data with ERP and MES systems.
According to conference participants, technological breakthroughs such as internet of things, artificial intelligence and robotics have made great changes in automation and manufacturing processes, and this presents opportunities as well as challenges to the vocational training system.
Officials from the Government, enterprises, international universities, and organisations also discussed and proposed international training models to improve the skill of the workforce in the context of international integration.
Le Tri Tin, country sales manager of factory automation at Bosch Rexroth Vietnam, said: “Hue Industrial College presented itself as one of the major vocational training institutions.”
The conference, which marked the 120th anniversary of the college, sought to enhance partnership between educational institutions and develop vocational education and training in the context of the fourth industrial revolution. — VNS
