AkzoNobel wins Rong Vang award for 3rd year


The Netherlands-based AkzoNobel Viet Nam has won the Rong Vang award the third consecutive year for its significant contribution into Viet Nam's socio-economic development.

HCM City (Biz Hub) — The Netherlands-based AkzoNobel Viet Nam has won the Rong Vang award the third consecutive year for its significant contribution into Viet Nam's socio-economic development.

Rong Vang awards is annually given to foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises, which have been recognized to contribute to development of Viet Nam, organized by the Viet Nam Economic Times in co-operation with the Ministry of Planning and Investment's Foreign Investment Department.

Last year, the company was successfully released super deluxe interior paint Dulux Ambiance.

Within the "Humanity City" project, the company has painted nearly 6,000 square metres and sponsored 4,720 litres of paint for two schools in Ngu Hanh Son district, central city of Da Nang.

This is the only Vietnamese city in "100 resilience-cities" under the sponsorship of the Rockefeller Foundation, which AkzoNobel works with to implement the initiatives of the Humanity City project. — VNS
