AB InBev, together with 5Desire, will launch the 100+ Labs programme in Viet Nam to support start-up businesses.

This is the first programme launched by a multinational group for sustainable start-ups.

The programme is aimed at promoting the start-up ecosystem and create conditions for Vietnamese start-ups to get access to the global market.

It will provide businesses with mentoring, training and funding up to VND300 million (US$15,000) to implement a pilot project with some of the most well-loved brands in the world and a golden ticket to take part in the AB InBev 100+ Accelerator global programme with a sponsorship worth VND2 billion for start-ups.

The AB InBev 100+ Accelerator global programme has supported 70 companies in more than 20 countries to solve supply chain challenges.

The 100+Labs programme in Viet Nam will open up cooperation opportunities among scientists, innovators and businesses with AB InBev to promote outstanding solutions to create a sustainable and comprehensive future.

The challenge will be in line with the company’s 2025 Sustainability Goals, relating to water, circular economy, climate, agriculture, inclusive growth and biodiversity. The challenge is open to all start-ups at all stages.

Ashwin Kak, Director of Procurement & Sustainability for India & Southeast Asia at AB InBev, said, “our sustainable development ambitions are pivoted on our vision of building a company that will last for over 100 years. However, we do realise that we cannot solve today’s sustainability challenges alone. The 100+ Labs aims to deliver systemic change through collaborations with new-age scientists, innovators, entrepreneurs and companies."

"I strongly believe that the 100+ Lab programme will be a key to our goals, culture and business to advance our contributions to an inclusive and sustainable world," said General Manager of AB InBev Vietnam Brewery Company Litmied Hoang Phuong.

Established in 1366, Anheuser-Busch InBev (commonly known as AB InBev) is a drink and brewing company based in Leuven, Belgium with branches in numerous countries and staff up to 150,000 worldwide.
