DA NANG (Biz Hub) — Yamaha Motor Viet Nam has introduced a new sports bike, the Yamaha Exciter 150, in Viet Nam's market, the company told Bizhub.

The underbone 150cc sports bike with two variants – GP and RC – was developed from the Yamaha Exciter 135, launched in 2009, but the latest version is better equipped with new electronic fuel injection technology and attractive design that makes it ‘the King of Street'.

The new bike, which has features of the legendary YZR-M1model, uses a four-stroke cylinder, single overhead camshaft and a five-gear box that allows rapid acceleration.

It uses a rear and front disk brake system, and has a revamped rear with LED lights, digital meter, mono-shock absorber and tubeless tires.

The new design makes the Yamaha Exciter 150 lighter than the old model and allows more flexible balance while turning.

The Exciter model has been the favourite bike of young people in Viet Nam, with its attractive sports design that imitates the bike used by Valentino Rossi at the MotoGrand Prix World Championships. — VNS
