HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Russia's Sollers automobile company plans to assemble the UAZ model in Viet Nam,
vietnamplus.vn reports.
The online newspaper quoted Sollers General Director Vadim Shvetov as saying that positive negotiations were likely to help seal a contract by the end of this year and his company would start assembling the UAZ model in the country next year.
The director also regarded Viet Nam as a lucrative market for Sollers.
The next negotiation round was scheduled to take place on November 25, he said, adding that the project timeline and investment had not been determined yet.— VNS
