HA NOI (Biz Hub) — People who sell or gift their vehicles must inform the concerned authorities who issue registration certificates.
If the authorities are not informed, these individuals could face administrative action in case the vehicles are involved in an accident or are used for criminal activities.
The order, issued in Circular 15 by the Ministry of Public Security, will be effective from June 1 and will replace Circular 36 on vehicle registration. Within 30 days of the ownership rights being transferred, organisations and individuals who purchase or are gifted vehicles must complete the registration procedures on the transfer of ownership with the vehicle registration agencies.— VNS
