HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — The BVOT Group Company Ltd and Bridgestone Viet Nam on Wednesday kicks off its third campaign, "For the Viet Auto Community", this year in major cities in the country.

As part of the campaign, a "Car Care Day" event, which is expected to attract 2,000 persons and 800 cars, will be organised in HCM City in July, in Da Nang in June and in Ha Noi in November.

During the event, skilful engineers and professional technicians from leading corporations in the automobile sector will check, counsel and solve vehicle's problems.

They will also provide useful information on tyre preservation and use, proper car care and maintenance, car safety and prevention of car accidents.

The campaign this year was organised following a successful one held last year, in which six events were held in HCM City, Ha Noi, Can Tho and Buon Ma Thuot. It attracted 1,600 participants and nearly 900 cars.

"The campaign had extensive nationwide interest from end-users and car owners. The technicians not only thoroughly checked participants' cars, but also provided useful information to enhance awareness of community safety," said Tran Hong Ninh, general director of BVOT.

This year's campaign is hoped to be even more outstanding than last year's because the organisers have accumulated more experience.

"The main point in 2014 is to improve the quality of services to meet the growing needs of end-users in Viet Nam. We continue to accompany the automobile community across the country with a desire to earn customers trust, satisfaction and safety to end-users. Moreover, charity activities are also being promoted through the For Viet Auto Community Fund to contribute more to society," said Hiroyuki Saito, general director of Bridgestone Viet Nam.
