TC Services Vietnam and Malaysian Tan Chong Group announced the launch of the British automobile brand MG.
Five agents have been announced nationwide to sell the cars made by the iconic British brand.
Kim Hwa, general director of TC Services Vietnam, the official distributor of MG in Vietnam said that: "This marks the beginning of the journey of the MG brand in Viet Nam while launching a completely new set of SUVs, MG ZS and MG HS."
The MG ZS has a starting price of VND515 million (US$22,307), competing with Hyundai Kona and Ford EcoSport.
The MG HS in the higher segment has a starting price of VND788 million competing with the Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-5 and Nissan X-Trail.
The five agents of MG are MG Le Van Luong and MG Long Bien in Ha Noi, MG Vinh in Nghe An Province, MG Go Vap and MG West Saigon in HCM City.
Kim Hwa said MG Vietnam's long-term commitment was to develop the MG brand and expand the network nationwide to meet the increasing demand of Vietnamese consumers, adding it aimed to open 20 agents nationwide within a year. — VNS
