HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The information and communications ministry on June 18 appointed Nguyen Kha Thoa as director of the Vietnam Television Corporation (VTC).
Thoa, born in 1974, graduated from the Academy of Journalism and Communications. She worked as a reporter with Vietnam Television (VTV) for several years before moving to VTC in 2010.
On June 12, the ministry had appointed VTC Director Nguyen Thanh Lam as its journalism department deputy director, and Thoa as VTC deputy director.
At a meeting on June 16, Minister Nguyen Bac Son said the ministry would hand over VTC to the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) per the Prime Minister's directive at the end of this month. — VNS
