HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Vietnam Internet Network Information Centre (VNNIC), under the Ministry of Information and Communications, will increase its Internet resource management for Can Tho this year.
This is one of the main clauses in an agreement signed by VNNIC with the Can Tho City Department of Information and Communications on February 27 in the city.
The two sides will implement activities to raise the community's awareness of Internet resources, such as the national domain name (.vn) and Internet protocol version 6 (IPv6).
Last year, VNNIC and the department organised a conference on protecting Vietnamese brands with the ".vn" domain name. The conference helped the city's organisations and enterprises improve their understanding of domain name management policies and development. — VNS
