HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Microsoft announced on Sunday that three Vietnamese teachers have been selected to take part in its Expert Educator Programme in 2014.

The teachers are Pham Dang Mai Linh from Le Quy Don primary school in Da Lat city, To Thuy Diem Quyen from Duc Tri secondary school in HCM City and Nguyen Thuy Hong from the Department of Teachers and Management Officials for Educational Institutions under the Ministry of Education and Training.

In addition, the Olympic School in Ha Noi has been chosen to participate in the Microsoft Mentor Schools Programme next year.

The educators were selected because of their innovation and effective use of technology in education, while the school was chosen based on a record of educational success, community leadership and successful school management.

Along with other expert educators and mentor schools in the world, the Vietnamese participants will work closely with Microsoft to boost innovation in teaching, instruct and share their experience on technology efficiency in education with their colleagues and policy makers. — VNS
