HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Viet Nam officially became the 143rd member of the Country Code Names Supporting Organisation (ccNSO) under the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), according to the Viet Nam Internet Network Information Centre (VNNIC).
IACNN, founded in 1998 in the US, is a non-profit organisation in charge of managing and coordinating the domain name system. The organisation's policies relating to domain names and IP addresses affect many countries, including Viet Nam. Participation will allow Viet Nam to join the organisation's policy-making process.— VNS
