HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Festival of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) will be organised in Ha Noi on May 14-15.

The festival, part of the activities to celebrate Vietnam Science and Technology Day (May 18), is aimed at bringing science and technology closer to the public and highlighting its role in socio-economic development, said Le Xuan Dinh, director of the National Agency for Science and Technology Information.

Themed "Time Machine", the festival comprising experiments and practical activities will take students on a journey from the past into future with corresponding scientific events from human history, said Dinh, who is also head of the festival's organising board. The lessons are designed to apply knowledge and skills in line with STEM education standards in solving practical problems.— VNS
