HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — As part of its campaign against cyberbullying, Kaspersky Lab has launched a new interactive portal, Words Can Save, that contains information about the issue and clues in parents to indirect signs their children are being bullied online.

wordscansave.me helps parents understand how important it is to be close to children and support them with the right words.

Cyberbullying has become a serious issue, with statistics from NetChildrenGoMobile showing that one of four child aged between 12 and 17 has experienced it in one form or another.

Kaspersky has worked with child psychologists from around the globe to put together recommendations on how to support a victim of online bullying.

Experts believe that empathising and having an open conversation is the ideal way to deal with children who have undergone the traumatic experience, which often causes them to become withdrawn, secretive, aggressive, depressed or even prone to self-harm. — VNS
