OPSWAT, one of the leading cybersecurity companies safeguarding critical infrastructure, is further extending its presence in the Vietnamese market.
This expansion includes the inauguration of a new office in Hà Nội and the signing of a strategic agreement with CMC Cyber Security Company Limited (CMC IS). This is a new step for OPSWAT in its strategy of exploring and serving the Vietnamese market in the field of cybersecurity. This aims to promote the effectiveness of cyber security defence systems for organisations and businesses in Việt Nam and around the world.
Under the agreement, OPSWAT will integrate CMC IS anti-virus software from CMC Cyber Security into OPSWAT's multi-application malware identification and prevention technology solution (Multi-scanning). By combining the power of CMC IS and many other malware scanning programmes, OPSWAT Multi-scanning enhances the ability to effectively prevent threats, especially for new malware originating from Việt Nam and surrounding areas. It could enable organisations to detect over 99 per cent of malicious code and effectively bolster network security against increasingly sophisticated attacks.
Hà Thế Phương, General Director of CMC Cyber Security said: “The strategic cooperation is an important step, marking the continuous development of the two companies."
On the same day, OPSWAT officially inaugurated its new office at Lancaster Luminaire Building in Hà Nội, aiming to help OPSWAT increase its scale of operations and continue to improve service quality for customers throughout Việt Nam.
Benny Czarny, Founder and General Director of OPSWAT said: “In recent years, Việt Nam has been actively investing in infrastructure development, especially in key infrastructure with investment up to 6 per cent of GDP. At the same time, in Việt Nam, the digital transformation process is taking place strongly at State agencies and businesses in all fields to optimise operations and business. Parallel to these developments and transformations, there is a growing need for cybersecurity for the critical network systems of organisations and businesses. Therefore, we actively expand our operations in the Vietnamese market to be ready to support Vietnamese Governments and businesses in ensuring network safety and security."
Lã Mạnh Cường, Vice President of Research and Development cum General Director of OPSWAT Vietnam added that OPSWAT Việt Nam is one of OPSWAT's key headquarters globally. The company will continue to increase investment to improve capacity and meet the increasing needs of the market. — VNS
