HCM CITY (VNS) — Lazada, a leading e-commerce player in Viet Nam, has launched an English-language version of its shopping platform to serve foreigners living in the country.
The English version has been available on both desktop and mobile versions since November 12.
Alexandre Dardy, CEO of Lazada Viet Nam, said: "After nearly three years in Vietnam we came to the conclusion that the 80,000 plus foreigners that live here still faced huge difficulties in negotiating the language barrier for both online and offline retail.
"Therefore, it was a priority for us to offer a convenient and accessible platform for shopping to all consumers."
The website is also launching its Online Revolution programme for the year-end shopping season. The programme will go on from November 11 to December 12 in six countries in the region, including Viet Nam, and offer discounts of up to 50 per cent.
