Online Friday 2017, the country’s biggest annual online shopping day held by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, will be held on September 29.

Well-known brands such as Nguyen Kim, MediaMart, Sunhouse, Adayroi are expected to participate.

Besides, customers will have an opportunity to experience the Online to Offline model at the BigOFF event, which will be held on September 29 at trade centres and stores in Ha Noi.

“Up your style” will be the greeting from Online Friday 2017 to customers worldwide and will feature products from the beauty, health, fashion, and technology equipment industries. It will also offer promotion programmes and dozens of deals.

The event, in its fourth year, aims to increase public awareness of e-commerce and to enable customers to purchase high-quality products at low prices.

Last year, the total sales of 30 large companies on Online Friday 2016, falling on December 2, reached VNĐ664 billion (US$28 million), triple the sales of the previous year.

Over 3,000 companies participated by offering discounts on 360,000 products and services.

Over 50,000 shoppers joined in activities hosted by 20 firms in the BigOff event. — VNS
