Businesses will be allowed to negotiate with foreign partners to decide international roaming services starting June 1.

The information was announced by the Viet Nam Telecommunications Authority under the Ministry of Information and Communications to promote development and encourage investment into the country by creating favourable conditions for customers to use international roaming services at reasonable rates.

At the same time, Vietnamese can enjoy benefits when charges for outgoing and incoming services are similar.

Accordingly, telecom companies are now fully active on roaming charges and negotiation time with international roaming service partners both incoming and outgoing services depending on the actual situation of markets.
