MobiFone announced on Wednesday that it had successfully tested 5G networks in Ha Noi, HCM City, Da Nang and Hai Phong after nearly a year of preparation.

During the preparation work, the company has actively worked with big 5G equipment and service providers from around the world to comprehensively assess the responsiveness and service quality as well as problems arising when developing the network on a large scale.

Test results of MobiFone’s 5G network has a download data speed approximately 2Gbps.

So far, the testing process has been completed and MobiFone’s network is ready, ensuring technological compatibility for 5G networks to work smoothly and effectively.

Speaking at the event, the representative of MobiFone said that successful testing of the 5G network was a condition for it to bring 5G into commercial use in the shortest time, thereby, helping the corporation conquer and master the leading technology and catch up with the 4.0 revolution of the world. — VNS
