HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Microsoft Vietnam on June 12 signed an Enterprise Agreement (EA) with VinGroup to provide the real estate developer information technology solutions to enhance its business management initiatives.

The American corporation's solutions, with synchronised deployment through the Microsoft System Center and Windows operating system, will help VinGroup operate and monitor its system more efficiently, save costs and time, enhance its service quality and security and ensure the system's stability.

When Windows 10 is launched at the end of July, the Vietnamese enterprise can use the newest applications across all devices such as PCs, tablets and smart phones.

Besides offering updated genuine software, the EA will support VinGroup's efforts to periodically allocate its budget.

"EA deployment is one of the best methods (of management and is) consistent with systems in modern enterprises. When using these services and modern solutions frequently, the company strengthens its IT capacity, increases its competitiveness and enhances the national IT capacity. With EA's budget allocation policy spread across many years, enterprises can be more flexible in their use of capital for IT planning and creating a long-term IT roadmap," Vu Minh Tri, Microsoft Vietnam General Director, said.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, VinGroup Chief Information Officer Luu Danh Duc said the enterprise's business expansion has brought challenges for its IT officials in ensuring the stability of the system, provision of quick support and effective risk management.

"Vingroup is determined to build a modern IT system to meet operational needs and bring world-class service to its customers. With the agreement signed today, Vingroup wants to emphasise its commitment to deploying the best services to its customers," he said.

HPT Vietnam Corporation, Microsoft's licensing solution partner in Viet Nam, will be in charge of providing and implementing the solutions for VinGroup.

Founded in 1995, HPT is currently a trusted provider of IT products and services. It improves efficiency across all of the company's activities including conducting business transactions, providing customer service and rolling out management activities.

VinGroup, founded in Ukraine in 1993 to deal with food production, returned in Viet Nam in 2000 and focused its investment in real estate, amidst hostility from the country's two key brands, Vincom and Vinpearl. It has expanded its business activities to various fields, such as education, healthcare services, fashion and e-commerce. — VNS
