HA NOI (Biz Hub) — IBM has announced the appointment of Eric CW Yeo as the Country General Manager of IBM Viet Nam.
Yeo takes over from Jee Toon Tan, who has been named Regional Director for ASEAN Analytics.
In his most recent capacity as ASEAN General Manager of Digital Sales, Coverage Sales and High Growth Cities, based in Singapore, Yeo led an award-winning team of brand and business solution experts to leverage innovative technologies in bringing business values to the areas of cloud computing, big data & analytics, mobility, social initiatives and security.
Yeo and Tan's appointments align with IBM's move towards cognitive solutions and becoming a cloud platform company.
In 2015, IBM re-aligned the company around these strategic opportunities by creating new integrated business units to bring together the right combination of products, services and expertise to serve IBM clients with greater speed and agility. — VNS
