HA NOI (Biz Hub) — VNPT General Director Tran Manh Hung has, on July 24, appointed Cao Duy Hai as VinaPhone director.
Hai was born in 1961 and graduated from the Military Technical Academy. He worked as Deputy General Director of MobiFone before moving to VinaPhone.
Hai will replace Lam Hoang Vinh, who is about to retire.
The appointment has been made keeping in mind the restructuring of VNPT with MobiFone under the management of the Ministry of Information and Communications.
At the moment, VinaPhone is the third largest mobile network in Viet Nam, after Viettel and MobiFone. Its revenue touched nearly VND30 trillion (US$1.4 billion) in 2013. — VNS
