Google appoints new head of marketing

HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Google has appointed Nguyen Phuong Anh as the new head of marketing in Viet Nam for Google Asia Pacific.

Phuong Anh, who was formerly the managing director of the Zalora Group in Viet Nam, has over seven years of experience working in e-commerce, fashion, brands, media and consumer insights.

Phuong Anh said: "After working in e-commerce for almost four years using Google products and services on a daily basis, now it's time to explore how innovation can improve the way we live, learn, connect and grow together. There are so many aspects of Google products which can add tremendous value for businesses and individuals, and I feel honored to be part of bringing that experience to the Vietnamese market and consumers even further."

She replaces Sophie Tran, who has been named the YouTube Creator Marketing Manager at Google Inc. —VNS
