HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Japan's DA Consortium (DAC) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Viet Nam's FPT Online Service Joint Stock Company on transfer of technology and investment opportunities.
The MoU was signed by Chairman of FPT Online Thang Duc Thang and Chairman and CEO of DAC Hirotake Yajima this month.
The two sides will study and negotiate before DAC transfers a number of technologies for building a system of digital advertisements for its Vietnamese partner. Initially, FPT Online will receive the data management platform, one among several advanced technologies of DAC.
FPT Online Chairman Thang said that the technology transfer would help the company to improve its online advertisement services in terms of scale and efficiency.
DAC Chairman Hirotake Yajima said that after three years of developing its business in Southeast Asia, his company highly appreciated the advertisement potential in Viet Nam, a country of 90 million people and a rapid developing Internet and communication environment. — VNS
