HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Dell Inc. announced the appointment of Tran Duc Trung as the new chief representative and chief executive officer (CEO) of Dell Viet Nam on Monday.
Trung succeeds Bui Dinh Truong and will direct the development of all sales channels in Viet Nam, including individual customers, private and state firms. He will also be responsible for managing the corporation's activities in Viet Nam.
Trung joined Dell Viet Nam as a director in 2008, managing growth of the company's individual customer and small enterprise markets, in addition to distribution.
In his earlier role, Trung helped the computer giant became the first brand offering door-to-door support service for customers in all areas of Viet Nam.
Dell laptops have topped PC World magazine's list of most popular IT product for three consecutive years, as voted by readers. — VNS
