HA NOI — Viet Nam earned US$29.8 billion from the export of phones and devices between January and November, a year-on-year increase of $3 billion, or 10.7 per cent, the Vietnam Customs said.
The US has surpassed the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which has been Viet Nam’s largest phone importer in the previous years, with an export value of $3.47 billion. It’s followed by UAE, South Korea and Austria, which show export turnovers of $3.38 billion, $2.29 billion and $1.72 billion, respectively.
Phones and devices continue to lead the country’s export value, bringing in 19.7 per cent of the total export turnover. — VNS
