HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Bphone, the first made-in-Viet Nam smartphone, will be sold in retail stores.
Hoang Ha Mobile, a smart phone retail store, listed on its website Bphone's price today.
The 16GB Bphone will be sold at the price of VND10.9 million (US$492) while the price of the 64GB version is VND13.9 million ($624) and the 128GB gold plated costs VND22.2 million ($993).
Previously, Bphone was sold only online on BKAV website, the producer of this smartphone.
Speaking with the media, BKAV Corporation representatives said retail channels will help customers access and buy its products more easily.
Bkav Corporation launched Bphone on May 26, which was in development for more than four years.
With a flat design, the phone has a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 with a speed of up to 2.5 GHz, and RAM Sky Hynic 3GB LPDDR3, and eMMC 5.0 flash storage of Toshiba. It comes with a 5-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel rear camera with OmniVision sensor. — VNS
