HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Bkav Internet Security Corporation announced on Monday that it can now provide 12-month free electronic customs software on the website www.eHaiQuan.vn.

The software, called eHaiQuan, helps enterprises carry out customs procedure on the internet. It is compatible with the Viet Nam Automated Cargo and Port Consolidated System and the Viet Nam Customs Information System (VNACCS/VCIS), which is financially and technically supported by the Japanese government.

The two systems will be used by the General Department of Viet Nam Customs from 2014.

According to Decision No.2341 of the Ministry of Finance, issued on September 18, enterprises in the country will have to use a digital signature to undertake online customs clearance from November 1.

Ngo Tuan Anh, deputy director of BkavCA digital signature service, said: "As time gets closer to the decision's enforcement, enterprises have found ways to improve their system or pay millions of dong to use customs software for only one year. Therefore, Bkav is providing eHaiQuan with a digital signature to ensure online transactions." — VNS
