Ngo Tuan Anh, director of the department working on Bkav CA, said that if banks introduce systems using digital signatures like Core CA, all transaction data will be protected and users will not lose their accounts.

"The digital signature solution is legally recognised around the world as it is a secure system that ensures against risks during online transactions. Therefore, most worldwide banks and securities companies now use digital signatures to replace one time account verifications, such as one time passwords via text message," he said.

Before launching the Core CA system, Bkav provided digital signature solutions for a number of banks and companies in Viet Nam including the Vietnam Securities Depository (VSD), the Asia Commercial Bank (ACB) and the Bank for Investment and Development of Viet Nam (BIDV). — VNS
