HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Leading Vietnamese security company Bkav was recognised as one of the top 10 brands in Viet Nam in 2014 at an awards ceremony on August 3 in Ha Noi.

The programme, initiated from 2006, is organised by the Vietnam Industrial Property Association (VIPA), Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Association (VUSTA) and Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).

Millions of local customers have purchased the anti-virus software of Bkav and millions of others around the world use its free products. It now has two branches, at California in the US and Singapore.

Bkav launched an international-standard SmartHome solution, which enables users to monitor and control their homes via mobile phones and laptops, in June in HCM City. In August, the company will sign its first contracts to provide the solution for customers in Singapore and Myanmar. — VNS
