More than 300 business and technology leaders from Viet Nam and regional countries Wednesday attended the Asian Innovators Summit (AIS) 2019 in HCM City.
The event, organised by software provider SAP of Germany, gave Vietnamese businesses insights on how the latest technology and solutions can help their innovation agenda and create new business models.
Businesses experienced the latest innovations in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Blockchain and Internet of Things.
Josephin Galla, managing director of SAP Vietnam, said: “The industry today is still in the assembly line mode. There are serious challenges such as real-time supply chains, agility, product innovation and manufacturing models.”
“By becoming intelligent enterprises, businesses in Viet Nam can increase their competitiveness on the regional or even global stage,” she said.
In line with "Made in Vietnam 4.0", SAP focuses on delivering Intelligent Enterprise software to Vietnamese customers in 2019 and helping them capitalise on the emerging experience economy.
Galla said Viet Nam was one of the fastest-growing markets in ASEAN and in Asia Pacific.
SAP has held dialogues with enterprises at AIS about innovation in the digital age, and has provided strategies for small- and medium-sized enterprises as well as big corporations.
