Thai hotel operator Centara Hotels & Resorts is set to open its popular family-themed resort in Mui Ne in the south-central province of Phan Thiet.

The world’s second Centara Mirage will be a Spanish Mediterranean-themed waterpark resort inspired by nautical adventures and voyages of discovery.

To open in late April the 984-key resort will offer guests elements of fantasy, family-friendly facilities include diverse dining, an observatory tower cafe, and playgrounds and kids’ clubs for children of various ages.

The waterpark will feature a lazy river, water slides, a splash pool, a cliff jumping pool, and a kids’ pool.

Centara Mirage has become hugely popular in Pattaya in Thailand since opening in 2009, and is still widely regarded as Thailand’s top family resort.

Centara’s 83 properties span all major Thai destinations plus the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Viet Nam, Laos, Myanmar, China, Japan, Oman, Qatar, Cambodia, Turkey, Indonesia, and the UAE.
