HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Work to widen sections of the Lang and Nguyen Trai streets and Nga Tu So Intersection in Ha Noi began on March 25.
The 116.7m-long project will include the 7.5m-wide road along To Lich River, and the 17.5m-wide bridge spanning the river till Lang Street which lies on the other bank of To Lich River. Both sections will have pavements.
The two roads hit the Nga Tu So Intersection, which is located next to Vingroup's large Royal City urban area. The roads are congested with traffic every day, especially during rush hours.

The Lang–Nga Tu So–Nguyen Trai area is one of the traffic hotspots in Ha Noi. The work to widen the roads is scheduled to be completed in September this year.
In its planning for the transport system towards 2030 and in a vision towards 2050, the city aims to eliminate traffic jams at dozen of locations, and reduce by 40 per cent the time wasted in traffic congestion at other locations. — VNS
