VNA transfers routes to VASCO

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Vietnam Airlines (VNA) will transfer its operations between Ha Noi and Dien Bien, and Ha Noi and Vinh to the Vietnam Air Services Company (VASCO) from January 1, 2016.

VASCO will operate 14 Airbus A321 flights per week on the Ha Noi–Dien Bien route and seven flights per week on the Ha Noi–Vinh route.

The transfer is part of the restructuring plan of the VNA, the national carrier, in which it will improve the operations of its airlines, including VAN, VASCO and Jetstar Pacific Airlines (JPA).

Earlier, the VNA transferred its operations between HCM City Rach Gia, Phu Quoc and Can Tho to VASCO, and on the routes from Ha Noi and HCM City to Tuy Hoa and Chu Lai to JPA. — VNS
