Vincom Retail Joint Stock Corporation announced that it spent VND300 billion (nearly US$13 million) to support its partners in terms of rent at 79 department stores.
The purpose of the support is to share difficulties due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic.
In particular, the support package will be spent to reduce space rental prices for partners and issue vouchers and promotions for customers shopping at Vincom shopping centres.
In addition, the corporation will co-ordinate with partners to organise demand stimulus programmes.
In order to provide a comfortable and safe shopping environment for customers, Vincom continues to strengthen preventive measures such as controlling body temperature in shopping centres, sanitising surfaces of public areas every two hours and arranging security guards wearing gloves and facemasks to call elevators for guests.
“Vincom always accompanies customers, especially in the difficult period of the economy due to the influence of the epidemic. The VND300-billion support package will not only help partners reduce the burden of costs but also develop attractive promotion programmes to attract customers and bring back the hustle and bustle life to Vietnamese consumers,” Tran Mai Hoa, Vincom Retail general director said.
The Vincom system is now present in 43 provinces and cities, covering 1.6 million square metres.
It has partners from more than 1,000 famous international and domestic retail brands, covering a full range of products from fashion, cosmetics, accessories, furniture to services like entertainment and cuisine. — VNS
