The 28th Viet Nam International Medical, Hospital and Pharmaceutical Exhibition (Vietnam Medipharm Expo 2022) opened in Ha Noi on Wednesday, with the participation of over 170 foreign and domestic exhibitors.

They come from India, Poland, Bangladesh, Taiwan, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Russia, Japan, Pakistan, France, Thailand, China and Viet Nam.

The three-day event starts at the Ha Noi International Exhibition Centre on Tran Hung Dao Street. State policies and laws in pharmaceutical and medical areas are introduced while the latest achievements and products in the pharmaceutical sector, including pharmaceuticals, herbs, supplementary foods, packaging machinery, hospital services and medical tourism, beauty care, cosmetology, dental and ophthalmic products, medical equipment, laboratory equipment and chemicals, are on display.

Jeegar Dattani, global marketing director of CMPS Company (Australia), said the expo was an ideal place to exchange and meet new partners. The event opened up opportunities for organisations and businesses to promote products, exchange experiences, seize investment opportunities and expand markets, and promote co-operation to improve efficiency in production and business.

Viet Nam Medi-pharm Expo is held annually in Ha Noi and HCM City. The event in Ha Noi this year is expected to welcome about 8,000 visitors.

The previous edition attracted 60 foreign and domestic exhibitors. — VNS
