Viet Nam and Hungary co-operate in utilisation of wastewater

Vietnamese construction company Hoa Binh Corporation and Hungarian company Thermowatt Ltd. on May 19 signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the technology of utilising wastewater for cooling large buildings.

According to the MoU, which was signed at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Budapest, Hungary, Hoa Binh will act as an exclusive distributor of the technology for the purpose of cooling large buildings in Viet Nam, such as hospitals, industrial parks and high rise buildings.

The two parties also agreed to work for the purpose of spreading the cooling solution in Viet Nam with an expected total expense of US$5 million annually.

Thermowatt Ltd. began offering the cooling technology four years ago. It has been installed for projects in the UK, France, Austria, Canada, Bulgaria, Romania, Czech Republic, Germany and Singapore. — VNS
