THANH HOA (Biz Hub) — The Vietnam Airlines Corporation and Thanh Hoa Province's People's Committee kicked off construction of Tho Xuan civil airport in the northern province on Sunday.
The VND600 billion (US$28 million) project includes a 5,000sq.m terminal that can handle 1.2 million passengers per year. It will be possible to enlarge the airport to receive 2 million customers per year, officials noted. Construction is scheduled to finish by January 2016. — VNS
