HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Some 1,410 enterprises in HCM City were established with a total registered capital of VND8.74 trillion (US$387 million), an increase of 26 per cent in the number of firms and double the amount of registered capital over the same period, from January 1 to January 15 this year.
The enterprises included 27 private businesses, 152 joint stock companies, 1,231 liability limited companies, of which, the argo-forestry-fishery sector had 12 enterprises with a total capital of VND114 billion (US$5.1 million); the industrial construction area had 31 enterprises with a total capital of VND2.83 trillion ($126 million); the services sector has 1,087 enterprises with a total capital of VND5.79 trillion ($257 million). — VNS
