The construction of three major bridges in the coastal province of Quang Ninh has been completed, facilitating tourism and economic development .

They are the Van Tien Bridge which connects the two Van Don and Tien Yen districts, the Ka Long 2 Bridge which connects the east and west side of Mong Cai City, and the Cua Luc 1 Bridge in Ha Long City.

Van Tien is the longest bridge in the province and the biggest among 32 bridges on the Van Don-Mong Cai Expressway. It was completed after 11 months of construction.

Ka Long 2 is the last bridge on this expressway. It was finished on December 1.

Cua Luc 1 was completed after 20 months of construction at the cost of more than VND2 trillion (US$76.7 million), which was taken from the province’s budget. — VNS
