Asia’s leading food and beverage trade show THAIFEX-World of Food Asia has unveiled an impressive line-up of refreshed buyer programmes and rebranded key visuals with a focus on business, quality trade deals and networking opportunities.
The trade show featuring an international line-up of exhibitors, including those from Viet Nam, will return in its 15th edition as the largest satellite show of the world’s foremost F&B exhibition, Anuga, for the Asian market.
This year’s trade show will boast an improved VIP Guest Service to facilitate trade and commerce. Revamped targeted programmes and thematic showcases aim to propel businesses up the value chain.
The renewed programmes will be accompanied by new key visuals that reflect today’s contemporary Asia.
The refreshed design will feature 11 product icons highlighting the exhibition’s reorganised trade shows, and the fresh red and white palette represents the trade show’s enduring association to its internationally acclaimed parent exhibition, Anuga.
Mathias Kuepper, managing director of Koelnmesse Pte Ltd, said: “Asia Pacific is a hotspot for F&B investments. It is poised to be a key market for future export growth, and we want to be enablers and facilitators of this.”
“Our commitment to innovate and continue leading the industry in the face of changes in the market is the driving force behind our revamping and rebranding efforts,” he told Việt Nam News.
“From extending the number of trade days and boosting our VIP programme to our new vibrant brand visuals, these changes reflect our goal of curating the ultimate trade show experience for everyone,” he said.
In addition, 11 masterfully crafted tradeshows, reflecting specific industry trends and evolving customer palates, will also make their debut.
Four special shows have also been curated this year. Besides the THAIFEX taste Innovation Show, the THAIFEX Special Shows will feature the Halal, Organic and Franchise showcases.
The trade show, which is expected to attract more than 2,000 international exhibitors, will be held in Bangkok at the end of May.
As many as 50 Vietnamese F&B enterprises, double the number that took part in 2016, displayed and promoted their products at the event in Bangkok last year.
Leading Vietnamese F&B businesses, including Viet Nam Dairy Products Joint-Stock Company (Vinamilk), Dan On Foods, Rita Food & Drinks Co Ltd and Minh Phong Green & Agricultural Products JSC, have participated in the show for the last six years.
According to the organisers, as a rapidly growing ASEAN economy, Viet Nam has a great deal to offer the global businesses attending the trade show.
The exhibition is co-hosted by Koelnmesse, a food and food-technology event organiser, along with the Thai Department of International Trade Promotion and the Thai Chamber of Commerce.
