With the global printing industry entering Industry 4.0, and advanced technologies being adopted in the field, Vietnamese firms should also upgrade their technologies to improve their competitiveness, he said.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Pham Xuan Da, head of the Ministry of Science and Technology’s southern office, said the exhibition offers a good platform for local and foreign firms to exchange information and collaborate.
It also provides local firms with an opportunity to update their technologies, he said.
Organised by the Viet Nam National Trade Fair and Advertising Company (Vinexad) and Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service Co., Ltd., the exhibition at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre is expected to attract over 15,000 buyers. — VNS
