HA NOI – The Government will increase the import tax rate for used cars of nine seats or more from June 20 this year, according to the Prime Minister's Decision 24/2013/QD-TTg.
Cars under 1,000cc will be taxed at US$5,000, while cars from 1,000cc to 1,500cc will be subject to a tax rate of $10,000.
The current tax rates are $4,200 and $9,600 respectively. -- VNS
