HAI DUONG (Biz Hub) — Regina Miracle International Viet Nam Ltd has officially become the first tenant for the Viet Nam Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) Hai Duong, VSIP has said.

On Wednesday, the lingerie and sportswear maker received an investment license from the Hai Duong's Province's People's Committee to set up a shoe manufacturing facility on an area of 13.6ha in VSIP Hai Duong.

At the capital of US$88 million, the construction of the factory is planned to commence in January 2016. About 3,800 staff will be employed and its full capacity will be about 6.8 million pairs of shoes annually.

VSIP Hai Duong is the sixth VSIP development. The 150-hectare industrial park is currently undergoing improvement and infrastructure works for land delivery to customers will occur by the end of the year. — VNS
