HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Vietnamese enterprises are attending OSEA2014, Asia's leading oil and gas industry event in Singapore, from December 2 to December 5 to promote their products in the region.

OSEA is the biennial trade show of the offshore oil and gas market and its supporting industries. Being held since 1976, this year's show is spread over an area of 36,000sq.m and is hosting more than 1,500 exhibitors from 49 countries and territories, including 20 international group pavilions.

Therefore, major players and upcoming SMEs from around the world have come to showcase their innovative breakthroughs and solutions, ranging from engineering, rigging and instrumentation and control to exploration and offshore installation.

Bach Vu Hung, branch director of the HCM City-based Minh Anh Techinfo that provides machines and equipments for shipbuilding, oil and gas, said that OSEA2014 was a good chance for them to promote their products to potential customers, not only in Asia but in the world.

Meanwhile, Do Binh Duong, director of the DLV Corporation, a marine supplier which provides calibration, valves and detection systems, as well as cutting tools in southern Viet Nam, said that with the advantage of oil and gas technology, Viet Nam could join the global supply chain of oil and gas.

Also at the event, a conference with 12 tracks, including three technical sessions and two workshops, will address the outlook for oil and gas supply and exploration, and other pertinent topics such as resource management through oilfield recovery, and the latest developments and technologies in unconventional and deepwater environments, among others.— VNS
